- Structuring your CV effectively: Give guidelines on organizing different sections such as personal information, profile summary, work experience, education, skills, and additional sections as per the industry standards.
- Highlighting your achievements: Provide tips on how to showcase your accomplishments and contributions in a concise and impactful manner, using quantifiable metrics wherever possible.
- Showcasing your skills: Discuss techniques to effectively present your skills, including both hard and soft skills, and how to align them with the requirements of the job you’re applying for.
- Using action verbs and power words: Teach the use of strong action verbs and power words to give your CV a more dynamic and persuasive tone.
- Do’s and don’ts of CV writing: Share common mistakes to avoid, such as including irrelevant information, using clichés or jargon, or providing inaccurate details.
- Incorporating relevant material: Suggest strategies for including relevant material like projects, internships, certifications, publications, or volunteer work, and explain how to prioritise them based on their relevance to the job.
